Melt in Your Mouth Hasselback Baked Potatoes


 




INGREDIENTS:

3-4 medium to large sized  potatoes
2 tsp. Butter
1 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
Dried tomato
Rupp  Bavarian smoked cheese 
Rupp Australian smoked cheese

 

READY, SET GO:
  1. Set oven to 200 degrees
  2. Medium  boiled  potato (can't be so soft) 
  3. Rub entire potato with butter
  4. Carefully slice potatoes about ¼ inch a part BUT DO NOT cut all the way to bottom, stop before bottom of potato so there are potato slices but the whole potato stays intact
  5. Filling with Rupp Bavarian cheese
  6. Line baking pan ,add potatoes to lined baking pan and bake uncovered for 30 minutes
  7. While potatoes are baking, cut dried tomato 
  8. Remove potatoes from oven, season with sea salt and ground black pepper, basting evenly with butter , add the Australian Rupp cheese and place back in the oven to continue baking uncovered another 10-15 minutes
  9. Remove from oven, allow to cool 5-10 minutes before adding bacon pieces, sour cream and green onions to top of each potato
