Guilty - free Protein Flan

 


Nothing spoils a mouthful of milk chocolate more than the "Ugh, what did I just eat?" feeling. And no matter how much you tell yourself that it's fine to indulge now and then, you still can't shake that guilty feeling that follows every piece of cake....

So wouldn't it be great to have delicious dessert options that won't leave you feeling like you've fallen off the healthy eating? 

This Smooth, creamy and custardy flan, is a delectable  protein treat packed with similar texture to a no-bake cheesecake, but without the fats and excess calories to enjoy at the end of a special meal or before or after workout , as a snack treat or at bedtime snacks . Ready for the recipe ? 


Protein Flan

Ingredients 

 

* 1 scoop   (Any flavour Flavour)USN-UK
* 200 ml Unsweetened Hazenut Milk
* 1 pack of Gelatine


Instructions:

1. Warm the almond milk in a microwave until begins to bubble.

2. Add the gelatine and mix together  or whisk over a low heat for approximately a minute until the gelatine is completely dissolved.

3. Blend it with 150 ml hazelnut milk 

4. Transfer the mixture to a refrigerator friendly container/dish (silicone case is the best ones) and place in the fridge to set for 3 hours. For this recipe you ideally need 3 hours for the gelatine to create the perfect texture. 

5. Take it off from the silicone cases

6. Pouring with pancake syrup @waldenfarms
