South Wales

 In 2005

I was 35 weeks expecting

I left Liverpool to live in Wales!!!

After 12 years living in the Welsh countryside, with my two beautiful Welsh girls, and my hubby, I considered myself a luck woman to have this great opportunity to live in a place like Wales.

Wales is a country in southwest Great Britain known for its rugged coastline, mountainous national parks, distinctive Welsh language and Celtic culture.

Cardiff, the capital, is a refined coastal city with a nightlife scene and a medieval castle with ornate Gothic Revival interiors. In the northwest, Snowdonia National Park has lakes, glacial landforms, hiking trails and a railway up to the peak of Snowdon.

Whichever bit of Wales you head for, you’ll find yourself within easy distance of the world’s finest castles and awe-inspiring landmarks. There are over 600 of them, from Roman times to millionaires’ follies of the 19th century, making Wales the castle capital of Europe. Each has its special story.

In the European Champions league, I had the privilege to be invited for Jeep Compass for the life recalculating campaign .

The campaign was about as my life has changed over the years due a tough decision that we have made when we were living in Mexico.

This was as my life was recalculated over the years .

The life is a recalculation,
from Brazil to London πŸ‘‰πŸ» from London to Mexico πŸ‘‰πŸ» from Mexico to Liverpool πŸ‘‰πŸ» from Liverpool to the stunning Wales

With  the all new Jeep Compass recalculate every possible.

We enjoyed the day driving the new Jeep Compass and visiting places that it's part of our lives.

The journey started in Cardiff, the capital of Wales and just 40 minutes driving from my home . It's a great place to visit with a wide of attractions, entertainment, shops and nice restaurants all within walking distance.

You also can visit :

Principality Stadium with its magnificent facets and features that make one of the most iconic stadiums in the world where I had the opportunity to be in the European Champions league final.

Wales Millennium Centre with its wide variate of events and restaurants situated in Cardiff bay. Where  I had the pleasure to watch my daughters show.

The Castle Choir

Toward to the romantic fairy-tale castle Choir.
It's a beautiful place to visit. Its a place that I spend time with my family, I take nice photos for my social pages, and  that I enjoy the medieval atmosphere.
It was built above the village of Tongwynlais in South Wales.

Brecon Brecons

I have the privilege to live nearby the national Park , Brecon Beacons .
The park has the highest mountains in southern Britain and the three ranges surrounding them, the Black Mountain Range, Fforest Fawr and Black Mountains.

The Brecon Beacons National Park offers many choices for paddlesports, from the tranquillity of canals and reservoirs to extreme kayaking over jaw-dropping waterfalls.

The cycling and mountain biking is also a fabulous way to experience our glorious countryside. It gives you healthy exercise, relieves stress and allows you to spend time in the fresh air with family and friends.

You  can enjoy your cycling with family and friends challenging each other to a real workout, or take it easy to enjoy!

You can go for walking in the fresh air with a stunning landscape, climbing the mountains, adventure with horse rides or just seat down and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

Caerphilly Castle

Caerphilly Castle is the huge castle in the middle of the town of Caerphilly which has a good selection of shops car parks , shops, cafes and facilities.
It's the largest castle in Wales and the second large castle in UK after Windsor castle .
It's a amazing place to visit with your family or friends. There's a wide green outside area  that you can go for the picnic and have a nice chat.

Cyfharthfa Castle

It's situated in Merthyr Tydfil and just 15 miles from my home. It's the town that I work, I do my shop, I go to the gym and that I have many friends.

If you are thinking to go to Merthyr Tydfil, I should visit the Cyfharthfa Castle.  It is described as the most impressive monument of the Industrial Iron Age in South Wales .

There's a huge forest, children park, lake, a cafe. It's a great place to spend the day .

Just 10 minutes driving from my home we get in Aberdare . It is a town in the Cynon Valley area of Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales, at the confluence of the Rivers Dare and Cynon with two beautiful parks and a nice leisure centre to go .

I had to mention this rural village in Cynon Valley .

The shot is in front of my children primary school. In front of school you can find the Penderyn Welsh whisky distillery and brand, that produce the first commercially available whisky made in Wales since the 19th century.

And for the last......

Rhigos Mountain

It's the highest mountain in Glamorgan, stunning view, and at the view point you can see my village. I love this place

I hope you like the  South Wales as much as me.
