Avocado shake / smoothie

Brazilian smoothie/ shake avocado 



I grew up in a house with many fruit trees. My grandma also grew vegetables and she had so many chickens that we didn't need to buy any eggs or chicken in the shop. Even the milk was delivered to our door by the milkman . 

I have a great memories of my childhood. 
One of the greatest memories is the special way that the Brazilians eat avocado . Brazil is the only country that eat sweet avocado . 

Avocado shakes and smoothies are a regular part of our diet mainly when we are children .It’s a healthy and flavourful way to put a bounce in your step first thing in the morning, snacks or supper. 

The only difference between the shake and the smooth recipe its the frozen avocado or room temperature avocado. 

Ingredients 


2 cups (500 mL) unsweetened almond milk
1 avocado, peeled and chopped
3 Tbsp (45 mL)  honey or any sweetness
4 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender and whirl until smooth. 

If you'd like the chocolate avocado smoothie you just need to add cocoa .
